I have been very fortunate to be involved in a diverse range of work at DLA Piper. Specifically, I have assisted in the negotiation and drafting of master services agreements (an MSA) for a major bank outsourcing its IT services.

In a deal where our team advised a client on its intra-group restructuring which involved various share transfers, distributions, contributions and amalgamation, I assisted with preparing documents such as Sale and Purchase Agreements, Business Transfer Agreements, documents relating to Stamp Duty and gazette publications.

There is real variety to the work trainees in Restructuring can get involved with. I have really enjoyed sitting in Restructuring in my final seat, as I have been able to build upon my learnings in my earlier seats of Real Estate, Employment and Finance, practice areas which all overlap with Restructuring.
