Typical trainee tasks include assisting with pitch preparations, reviewing documents, assisting with due diligence, undertaking legal research, drafting and negotiating corporate approvals, and project management (including overseeing transaction completions and post-completion administration).

Trainees get involved with a wide range of work in Finance, getting to experience the full life-cycle of a transaction several times throughout the seat. As the most junior team member in each transaction, trainees are often tasked with keeping track of the progress of a deal.
