Yes, absolutely. We do not expect applicants to have had any prior experience in law. We welcome applications from candidates that have a broad range backgrounds, experiences and achievements.

You will need to provide evidence of your academic achievements (e.g. exam certificates/transcripts) if you are offered a position at DLA Piper.

Yes, you can. Our testing partner has a practice website where you can complete questions similar to what you'll see in the real test. We recommend that you practice before taking the real test. That way, you'll know what to expect and nothing about the format or process will come as a surprise. The practice test site is here.

No, you can only apply to one position in one office.

Summer Internship: When applying for the Summer Internship, you must hold the appropriate visa (for example, Student Visa (if out of term time)) that will allow you to work full time and complete a 3 week placement during late June / early July 2022. DLA Piper will not support visa applications for the Summer Internship.

International Graduate Programme: DLA Piper will support the application for a visa / work permit as required for the country in which the candidate has secured their offer. The visa application is subject to the immigration process in each country, and securing the work permit/ visa is not guaranteed. Any offer we extend is conditional upon the visa application being approved. If a visa is not secured, the offer of employment will be withdrawn.
